Why UV lacquer finish ?

oak engineered flooring with a hardened polyurethane lacquer finish. The long length and width natural graining of the boards will make a premium looking floor for any interior.Hardwearing wear resistant pre-applied polyurethane lacquer finish. When correctly maintained the floor will give a lifetime of use and comes 25 year warranty.

Why oak engineered flooring?

The engineered hardwood becomes less susceptible to the effects of moisture and temperature change, because wood expands and contracts in the width of the grain direction. Therefore engineered hardwood is dimensionally stable, and more suited to varied living conditions including underfloor heating.

Our UV lacquered engineered oak wide plank flooring all comes with plywood substrate for better stability and strength after installation on your jobsite, and a minimum of 3-4mm thickness European oak overlay for long life span and better durability (3-4mm wear layer lasts much longer than 1-2mm).

When you decide to go with engineered oak flooring, always make sure that the wear layer of oak is thick enough to resist the wearing and tearing your floor will receive. Some companies supply engineered products with an oak wear layer as thin as 1.5mm, which could not stand up even 3 years home traffic. The  oak wear layer we provide is 3mm minimum, thus providing excellent durability.

We could also produce 20mm engineered oak with 6mm oak over with same durability as an 18mm solid oak but never comprimise with stability & advantages that engineered oak served.
